We’re excited to introduce Brittanie Hundt, the newest member of our Housing team!  Brittanie was able to join us in November as a Housing Retention Specialist because of the generosity of our amazing donors who supported us through our Housing Campaign last spring. We’re thrilled to have her as part of the Inspiration Corporation team!

Prior to coming to Inspiration Corporation, Brittanie studied Psychology and Music at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota before moving to Chicago to complete a Brittanie Hundtyear of service at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. She says that the mission, history, and atmosphere of dignity and respect were what attracted her to Inspiration Corporation, and was impressed with how quickly she was able to begin working with people in the Housing Services program. Within her second week, she had already been working alongside a participant to help prevent her from getting evicted. “I was able to quickly get to know her because I met with her several times throughout that week, so something that I’ve really appreciated is just being able to get to know the participants.”

Outside of work, Brittanie says that the arts play a huge role in her life, including music and dance. She hopes to find an outlet in Chicago through which she can start performing again.

We’re happy to report that since bringing Brittanie aboard, we’ve been able to reinstate case management services to 24 Chicago Low Income Housing Trust Fund units so far!  We’re so thankful to everyone who helped support this program, and to the Housing staff for all of their hard work!
