Congratulations to Damien Turner, our May 2018 Volunteer of the Month! Damien started volunteering with us two years ago and has been a steady and reliable presence. He comes in at least once a week to help cook breakfast at Inspiration Cafe. We are glad that Damien is willing to help us so early in the morning!
What is the most enjoyable part of volunteering for you?
Giving back to the community and helping those in need.
What is the most challenging?
The most challenging is getting as much done as I can for the time I have to volunteer.
What have you learned from your volunteer experience?
There are not enough people in the general public taking time to volunteer.
