Inspiration Kitchens alumni Jermaine and Curtis are putting their skills to work at Mastro’s Restaurants. "I couldn't work at a better place," Curtis says, and Jermaine adds, "My time at Inspiration Corporation was inspiring. I wish everyone who's in need could have the chance to get their training."

One Inspired Evening was another amazing evening with inspiring art, fantastic food and great people! Thank you to everyone that attended the event and to the many volunteers who helped make the night a success!
Highlights of the event included a juried art auction by Chicago business owner Steven E. Gross, artist and managing director of Firecat Projects Stan Klein, and artist and founder/director of the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative Deborah Maris Lader. It featured more than 100 pieces (see below for pics of the wonderful art!) from local and national artists; and a wonderful live painting from artist, Kelly Houlihan. Guests enjoyed live music from the Sam Sinclair Trio; cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres buffet catered by Inspiration Kitchens, our food service training program and social enterprise, with restaurants in Garfield Park and Uptown.
Guests also feasted on donated specialties from Wow Bao, Burrito Beach, Potbelly and the Green Gourmet Chicago. Italian Village Restaurants donated all wine and cocktails, Goose Island was on tap for several selections of their beer, Intelligentsia's Inspiration Blend coffee was served and Crystal Geyser donated bottle water with popchips giving out their healthy snacks for the ride home.

A big thank you goes out to all the businesses/restaurant owners that gave their support with a gift certificate or item donation to our silent auction. And of course, to our generous sponsors who raised money for our award winning programs to help get Chicagoans the services they deserve. We appreciated your support to make this the best One Inspired Evening ever!
We can't wait to see you all next year!
