Inspiration Corporation is fortunate to have a committed group of nearly 700 individuals and many organizations who help with the day-to-day work of running the Inspiration Cafe and The Living Room Cafe. If you are interested in donating your time, please e-mail us.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Meals Program:
Contribute to the restaurant atmosphere of Inspiration by serving meals with dignity and respect.

• Cook (must be 14 or older)
• Serve (must be 14 or older)
• Create bag lunches (30 at a time)
• Donate a meal/food

• Computer Class Facilitator
• Open Lab Assistant
• Tutor (pre-GED subjects, computer skills)
• Teach job training classes (resume, interview skills, etc)

• Class instructor (yoga, nutrition, hygiene, etc)
• Massage therapy

• Cooking/serving as a group (7-8 people)
• Coordinate a food/supply drive
• Create bag lunches (minimum of 30 lunches)
• Create a fundraiser
• Assist with mailings
• Painting
• Cleaning
• Plan a meal and donate food

• Donate tickets/ CTA cards
• Sponsor an event (bowling night, etc)
• Coordinate a movie/games night

• Answer phones/make phone calls
• Assist with mailings
• Organize files
• Database entry
