Our Work Last Year
We worked hard during our previous fiscal year (July 2021 to June 2022) to provide a wide variety of services to those experiencing homelessness and poverty in Chicago. Here’s just some of what we accomplished:

Each year we work with thousands of Chicagoans affected by barriers such as homelessness and poverty.
We meet people where they are in life, helping them achieve their goals by providing social services, job training, housing, and food.

Our 8-week Foodservice Training program offers the opportunity for individuals to learn to cook professionally at a real restaurant, helping them gain the experience they need to build a career in food services.
Dine Well. Do Good.
We train low-income and homeless Chicagoans for careers in the foodservice industry at Inspiration Kitchens, our social enterprise restaurant in East Garfield Park. Our graduates go on to work at some of the city’s hottest restaurants and catering companies, and have the opportunity to exit poverty for good.
