We are so excited to highlight our partnership with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), an organization that has supported Inspiration Corporation in a multitude of ways! The generous members of PCMA have spent a great deal of time and resources over the past year volunteering on projects that have made a direct impact on our participants, including collecting donations, volunteering at meals, conducting mock interviews, and coordinating a once in-a-lifetime cruise on Lake Michigan.
The first year of our two year partnership with PCMA culminated in an incredibly generous donation of $18,000. Thanks to their tremendous support, our participants continue to thrive and work towards self-sufficiency:

Kevin, who joined our program after the loss of his job that led to his eviction, was able to move out of a shelter and is now stably housed and employed full time.
Arnold, whose previous incarceration as a young man made it difficult to find employment, has not only a mentor to other students at our social enterprise restaurant, Inspiration Kitchens, but is also employed at a prestigious restaurant in Downtown Chicago.
This level of support has also been instrumental in allowing us the flexibility to provide more comprehensive case management to participants who receive services in multiple programs at Inspiration Corporation. We have been able to help individuals secure employment, acquire stable housing, and gain both the confidence and energy needed to continue working on their career goals.
We are so thankful to PCMA for the incredible support they’ve provide since we began our partnership, and we’re excited to see what the next year has in store!
