It’s that time again – April is National Volunteer Month, and we thought this was the perfect opportunity to say thank you to all of our volunteers for their tremendous support. You ALL are our Volunteers of the Month for April!

Our volunteers support us in so many integral ways: cooking and serving meals, organizing our food pantry, cleaning up our office and cafe space, monitoring our Resource Room…the list goes on and on, and we could not thank you all enough for your dedication and kindness. Many of our clients are going through some of the hardest times of their lives, and the empathy and understanding our volunteers provide to support them through their journeys towards self-sufficiency are truly inspiring.

Throughout the past year, ourvolunteers have provided us with over 15,000 hours of service – since the U.S. values volunteer time at around $22/hour, that means our volunteers have helped Inspiration Corporation offset over $330,000 in labor costs since April 2014 alone. That is INCREDIBLE! This organization could not function without our volunteers, and we’re so lucky to have a team we can rely on.

All of us at Inspiration Corporation want to thank YOU for the countless hours you’ve devoted to our organization. You have provided a great service for those in need, and we could not be more grateful.

You all are amazing – thank you so much for everything!
