The sun was out, the air was crisp and there were Ferraris everywhere! The Italian Village Restaurants were celebrating their 85th year in business and the 15th year of their annual Ferrari Fest, Ferraris in the Loop.
The entire block in front of the restaurant was blocked off so fans of all ages could wander through the sea of 60 Ferraris that filled Monroe Street. There was also music, clowns and of course the best Italian food this side of the Atlantic!

Proceeds from this September event went to Inspiration Corporation and the Lurie Children’s Hospital.
Italian Village Restaurants’ relationship with Inspiration Corporation goes back many wonderful years. They have generously partnered with us on Ferrari Fest and their wine celebrations. They thoughtfully arranged for Inspiration Corporation to be the benefitting nonprofit organization for the Chicago Social Martini Week fundraiser, and we were lucky enough to win that donation with their help. Their overwhelming support of our annual art auction fundraiser, One Inspired Evening, has helped make the night an outstanding success. They have even supported our agency by supplying their delicious pizzas and pastas for our various committee meetings and staff holiday parties.
It was a fun filled day and everyone involved had a great time. Thanks to all of you who made it out to the event and enjoyed the festivities . If you missed it this year, make plans to enjoy the fun with us next fall for the 16th Annual Ferrari Fest.
