We are delighted to announce that Jennifer Miller Rehfeldt will be re-joining the Inspiration Corporation team as our Chief Program Officer, effective November 12th!

Jennifer brings a strong background in workforce development and programming with over 17 years in the field.  For the past three years, Jennifer has been a Program Officer with the Lloyd A. Fry Foundation where she oversaw the Foundation’s investments to workforce development organizations located in Chicago. Jennifer participated in local and national affiliations addressing workforce development issues and developing strategies to ensure underserved populations, including job seekers experiencing homelessness and poverty, are engaged in the workforce. Jennifer will continue her volunteer work as a project manager on the Continuum of Care’s employment and income action agenda. She will also continue to be part of a community of practice organized by Funders Together to End Homelessness, a group of funders working to better align the workforce and homeless services systems.

Jennifer was part of the Inspiration Corporation team prior to working at the Lloyd A. Fry Foundation.  Jennifer started as the Career Services Coordinator with The Employment Project in 2004 and joined Inspiration Corporation when the two organizations merged in 2005.  Between 2005 and 2012, Jennifer was promoted to Director of Employment Services, where she oversaw the Employment Services program and the Lori Jericho Memorial Education Fund. She was later promoted to Chief Program Officer, where she oversaw the development and management of all of the agency’s programs, including Housing Services, Foodservice Training and Meals, until she left in 2015.

Prior to moving to Chicago in 2004, Jennifer graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and began her career providing individualized career counseling, training and job placement and retention services to persons with disabilities and adults who are homeless.
