Our April Volunteer of the Month, Jon Heuring, is particularly special to Inspiration Corporation for many reasons. Not only has he been volunteering as a 
breakfast cook on a regular basis for over 10 years (even longer than we’ve had our current volunteer database), but Jon also worked for the agency for 3 years in the Development department – he’s a super supporter!
Even though Jon has now moved into a new position with another organization, he continues to volunteer with us most Friday mornings, arriving at Inspiration Cafe at 5:30AM to cook a delicious meal for our participants. He’s an amazing leader to our newer volunteers, and the kitchen is always fun when Jon’s around!
Outside of his interests in non-profit work and volunteering, Jon is an animal lover, a diehard White Sox fan, and a gardening enthusiast – our Development office certainly misses the days of free, homegrown kale! Jon was a great colleague, and we’re so grateful that he has continued to support Inspiration Corporation through our volunteer program.
